Dave Caruso: "Man of a Thousand Songs"
Piano Wars!
Dueling Pianos

For over 30 years, armed with keyboard, guitar, bass and drums, entertainer Dave Caruso has performed more than 3,800 shows in hundreds of cities in 24 states and Canada at hundreds of colleges, nightclubs and outdoor venues.

In 2001, Dave began working as a dueling pianist.  He has since performed thousands of dueling pianos shows in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Texas and Nevada.  Dave's dueling pianos company, Piano Wars!, has entertained at hundreds of corporate events, private parties, wedding receptions, outdoor festivals and house parties.

Caruso's use of costumes and props make his show memorable, but it's his comic timing and audience rapport that make him a standout among dueling pianos entertainers.  As the "Man of a Thousand Songs," Caruso amazes audiences everywhere by his ability to play just about any song he's heard.  Hilarious song parodies are just one way in which Dave puts the spotlight on audience members throughout his show.

Under Dave's leadership as Entertainment Director at Pub 13 in Ypsilanti, MI, the club was voted "Best Piano Bar" by the readers of Real Detroit Weekly.  During the following year as E.D. in Mishawaka, IN, Rum Runners broke a 4-year nomination streak by finally winning the reader's choice award for "Best Live Entertainment" in the South Bend Tribune.  This experience has strengthened Dave's skills as a dueling pianos trainer and he's often hired for dueling pianos wait staff training for hourly "showtime" dance routines.

Caruso's original music web site, www.DaveCarusoWeb.com, is loaded with pictures, audio, and video, and stories which chronicle his music career outside the world of dueling pianos.
